Video Destroyer

December 13th-15th 2012 was Art Hack Day San Francisco. Art Hack Day is a hackathon "For hackers whose medium is art and artists whose medium is tech". I worked on a few ideas, but ended up making a YouTube Video Drum Pad. Those who attended the exhibition could open the app, select a YouTube video and chop it into four parts that could be played percussively.

Simply select a YouTube video, scroll the four pads to the position in the song you'd like, and play.

Each pad plays like a drum pad and scrolls like a turntable.
